About Us
"Kia Ora" to Drive Smart School
Hello, my name is Saagar, and I am the owner of Drive Smart.
Originally from Fiji and proud to be from the Pacific Islands, I have called Tauranga, New
Zealand home for over 15 years. I am passionate about helping people gain the skills
and confidence they need to become safe and responsible drivers.
As an islander, I enjoy connecting with people from all backgrounds and cultures. I have
a friendly personality and a good sense of humour, which helps create a relaxed and
enjoyable learning environment for my students.
I can communicate in English and Hindi, making it easier for learners from different
backgrounds to feel comfortable and confident during their driving lessons.
Whether you have never driven before, are preparing for your Restricted Licence Test,
or need to improve your driving skills before sitting your Full Licence Test, I am here to
support you every step of the way. My lessons are tailored to your individual needs,
helping you learn at your own pace in a calm, friendly, and professional environment.
